The Building Department will be moving to a new location effective June 24, 2013. They will be located at 517 8th Avenue East, across the street from Public Works. The office will be closed June 20-21 in order for staff to move.

Building Department Plan Review Fee

The Building Department will implement a plan review fee of up to half of the permit fee on July 1, 2013.
The fee will need to be paid at the time the application is submitted. If you have any questions, please contact the Bldg Dept at (701) 577-8115.

City Landfill

The Williston Landfill will not be accepting Freon appliances such as refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners after June 30, 2013. See attachment for disposal information.

Building Inspection Notification

Building inspections require a 24 hour notice. Inspections will be completed on an A.M./P.M. basis. If you want an exact time, you must indicate that with your request and be on site during the inspection.
