The City Auditor's office provides services to the City's operations in the areas of finance, budgeting, accounting, special assessments and utility billing and assists the public by responding to inquiries and requests.

Duties of the City Auditor include:

  • Attending all meetings of the City Commission and keeping a complete record of its proceedings
  • Preparing the City's financial reports
  • Administering the City budget
  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget
  • Managing the City 's investments
  • Maintaining the City's records
  • Issuing business licenses and permits
  • Overseeing maintenance of special assessments and utility billing
  • Providing administrative support for municipal court and ambulance billing
